It’s Limpia Time! Learn how to cleanse yourself mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and energetically so that your body can house your inner being with joy and balance. Start this Spring with revived energy.

Hola! It ‘s Limpia time!

What is a limpia you ask? A limpia is a healing ritual that is performed on people who want to revive their energy after they’ve been exposed to negative energy, when it is time to release and bring back energetic balance, and for energetic and spiritual protection. It is also used when the seasons are changing. Limpias are practiced in Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and within many Indigenous communities of North America. There is a vast array of limpias and the one I will be sharing with you is performed with fresh herbs and flowers. The herbs and flowers are gently and, with great intention, used like a broom to sweep energies off of the body.

Spring is a great time to clean up your house in order to release stagnant energies to welcome all of the blessings and new experiences that are on their way. Cleaning our homes energetically is important but so is caring for ourselves and our bodies… the home that houses our essence, our soul, our spirit. I invite you all to learn how to do a limpia. You will learn how to cleanse yourself mentally, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and energetically so that your body can house your inner being with joy and balance and you will learn how to cleanse your home as well. Start this Spring with revived energy. I will bring the herbs and flowers for our limpia journey, all you need is to bring your lovely selves, water to stay hydrated, notebook, and a pen or pencil.

As always, I believe you are your own greatest healer and I am here to share tools and to facilitate. We are living in times where it is greatly needed for us to honor and protect what is sacred, to hold our own darkness with tenderness and accountability, to care for each other and our earth, and to live as consciously as possible.
